Description:
We are looking for a Jnr IT Technician to join our company based between Somerset West & Stellenbosch.
Our IT team is made up of 3 people who service and provide in house support to a large portfolio of companies.
This position will provide desktop support concerning day to day tickets and call outs.
Resposibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Complete assigned tasks and keep ticket system updated with progress
- Provide support in person, via phone, & remote connection
- Travel to local sites to provide on-site support ( use of pool car available)
- Hardware: install, setup , conifigure & troubleshoot faults.
- Software: instell, setup , configure and troubleshoot faults with provider
- Networking: Install, repair, configure & troubleshoot
- Escalate priority/unresolved or repeated tickets
- User training & assistance with boardroom connections
- Stock control
Various admin duties
Requirements:
- A+ & N+ or equivalent
- Must be punctual & relaible
- Able to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills
- Experience advantageous
- must have a valid drivers license
