We are looking to train up a young, eager and dynamic person with a design qualification to join our sales team in Northriding.
JOB DESCRIPTION – EXTERNAL SALES CONSULTANT
· Establish relationships with existing and new customers to secure specifications
that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets.
· Meet or exceed targets by constantly building a healthy sales pipeline.
· Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to specification of products, payment and delivery to site.
· Provide quotations, invoices and correspondence through the company’s POS and email platform.
· Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking.
· Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales.
· Consult with prospects about business challenges and requirements; developing/presenting solutions that help them meet their goals and overcome their challenges.
· Help prospects clearly define their decision making process, timelines and budget in order to make a purchasing decision.
· Maintain a high level of relevant industry knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects.
· Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers on our product solutions.
· Draft and deliver proposals.
· Develop and maintain forecasts and pipelines which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis.
· Entering and managing all data (Companies, Contacts and Deals) into database and managing/maintaining the accuracy of this information and how it correlates with our other systems and database’s.
· Report on sales activity on a weekly basis at weekly sales meetings.
· Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions.
· Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation.
· Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings.
· Work closely with the procurement team to ensure stock is available at required timelines for projects.
· Works collaboratively with management and colleaugues to maintain the company’s policies and procedures with respect to their impact on customer satisfaction and make recommendations where required.
· Identify sales support requirements and work with marketing to develop/ improve sales tools.
· Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace.
· Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity

Basic Salary: R 15 000.00 plus coms
Medical Aid Contribution: 50% on a Discovery Classic Saver for up to a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids)
Petrol allowance: R2300 to be claimed back with slips and call report
Sim with 5g data and 700min airtime
Working on a rotational basis on Saturdays from 08h30 – 13h00. They get paid R 45.00 per hour for this. We are closed on Sundays & public holidays (unless the public holiday falls on a Saturday). In this case, you get paid R 60.00/per hour.
