Head of BI

Description:

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Head of Business Intelligence to lead and develop data strategies to meet business objectives. The successful candidate will establish and coordinate analytics and business intelligence models, creating visual data representations, and implement executive dashboards to drive key business insights. Key responsibilities:

• Develop Data Strategies : Formulate and implement data strategies that align with business goals.
• Business Intelligence Models : Establish and coordinate analytics and business intelligence initiatives across divisions.
• Data Visualization: Create clear and concise data visualizations using MS Excel and Power BI.
• Data Analysis : Determine appropriate data analytic approaches and tools based on project tasks and client requirements.
• Trend Monitoring : Implement executive dashboards to monitor key trends and discuss statistical insights with executives.
• Predictive Analysis : Extrapolate data to predict future trends and proactively address business changes.
• New Business Development : Support the Capital Solutions division with valuation and pricing of new debt/credit portfolios for acquisition.
• Principal Collections Analysis : Develop and refine predictive and descriptive models, including but not limited to Propensity to Pay, discount and settlement models, and commission rate models.
• Finance and Legal Collections: Work with finance and legal collections teams on fair value, amortized cost modeling, and other financial models.

Qualifications

• BSc in Business Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
• Proven track record in BI or data analytics with minimum 5-7 years’ experience
• Good leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
