Salary: R5 000 depending on experience

A well-established and reputable company in the wholesale / retail packaging industry is seeking to appoint a Warehouse Merchandising Assistant at their Branch located in Rietfontein.
Seeking a candidate that has experience in the packaging/plastics/warehousing/retail industry
Age: 25- 50 years
Requirements
Grade 12 with mathematical skills
Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment is preferred.
Basic knowledge of merchandising principles and practices.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in Afrikaans and English.
Must be able to multitask and function under pressure
High attention to detail and accuracy
Responsible and reliable
Valid license and transport
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Assist in organizing and maintaining merchandise displays in the warehouse showroom.
Ensure that merchandise is arranged attractively and in accordance with company standards.
Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed to maintain display aesthetics.
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and preferences.
Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide product information when necessary.
Handle merchandise with care to prevent damage and ensure cleanliness of the showroom.
Conduct regular inspections of merchandise for quality assurance.
Assist in receiving and processing incoming shipments of merchandise.
Help with labelling, tagging, and pricing merchandise accurately.
Maintain accurate records of merchandise movement and inventory levels.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines while handling merchandise and operating equipment.
Support other warehouse operations as required, including packing, shipping, and order fulfilment.
