Description:
Recharger Prepaid Meters is looking to employ an experienced & qualified IT Manager - based at their Head Office in Durban, Umhlanga.
IT Infrastructure, management and uptime, planning and monitoring systems and services.
Initiating, coordinating and enforcing systems IT policies and procedures.
Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices and on projects.
Perform all supervisory responsibilities associated with the IT Department (Infrastructure aspect within).
Determine the goals of IT within broad outlines provided by the executive management and contribute to the continuity of IT services by providing necessary technical leadership and project coordination.
Prepare and maintain Monthly \ Daily tasks, checklists for all IT work
Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures and information security and control structures.
Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating outcomes and trends, identifying problems, and anticipating requirements.
Develop innovative network troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime and lower repair costs.
Create and maintain continuity plans that will keep the company functional in the event of a crisis.
Collaborate with team members to achieve the desired results.
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Information technology or relevant qualification
Server Architecture and Systems Management Experience.
IT Network Management (must have experience in networking, cabling, switches, firewalls, Wireless, etc)
Software (installation and support)
Servers and Workstations (Manage, Maintain, Report and troubleshooting, etc.)
Virtual Machine Manage (create, configure, maintain, troubleshoot) (HyperV, VMware)
Printer & consumables manage (installation, troubleshooting and maintenance)
VOIP (Good understanding on IP Phones, PBX, IRV, routing)
Server Administration (Domain, DNS, DHCP, Group policies, Active directory)
Good Knowledge on Network devices (Switches, Routers, Firewall (FortiGate))
IP Addressing (Understand IP, types & classes, subnet mask, VLANS.)
CCTV Monitoring and troubleshooting (liaise with the provider)
Backups (creating and maintaining where required)
IT Assets management (Asset tagging, adding to register, etc)
Application Administration SSO, CRM (learn, create & manage user access app)
End User desktop support (Computers, hardware, software (Operating system, Office, apps, etc)
ISP Manage with 3rd party providers
Google Workspace (Administer)
External Providers (liaise with, facilitate, request on high priority tasks)
Antivirus & Security.
