LabourTek has partnered with a well-established FMCG concern to recruit a Sanitation Supervisor to join their Western Cape plant.
Requirements:
You will be responsible to provide supervision and leadership to the Sanitation team to ensure the facility complies with all Sanitation / Food Safety / Quality requirements. All aspects of Sanitation including day-to-day personnel management, maintaining production equipment and facilities in a clean & sanitary manner will be under your charge. You will ensure that regular housekeeping inspections are done as well as handling of all regulatory and requested inspections.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry, microbiology, or related field and at least 4 years’ experience in the food industry. Excellent knowledge of safety, sanitation, food safety/quality procedures is expected. Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SOP, ISO 22000, Pest Management, Chemical Safety and verification of good cleaning practices is essential.
