Our client in the Transportation / Telematics Industry, requires the services a Systems Manager to provide project-based solutions for all system challenges.
Key performance areas:
- Problem Identification and Analysis: Identify key areas of improvement within the business, analyse complex problems and determine the impact on various business units including enterprise systems, HR, product development and sales.
- Solution Design and Implementation: Design innovative solutions to address identified problems. Oversee the development and implementation process, ensuring solutions are scalable, sustainable and aligned with business objectives.
- Business Modelling: Reproduce processes and problems into representative models, and create and present pre-scribed solutions, allowing business to optimise and implement solutions in an efficient way.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects from conception through to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Continuous Improvement mindset: Mobilise the team to embark on evaluation and optimisation of critical processes in the business.
- Consultative Collaboration: Work closely with different business units to understand their challenges and requirements. Offer consultative support to refine processes, improve efficiency, and enhance overall business performance.
- Team Formation and Leadership: Build and lead a team a new team, setting strategic goals and providing guidance and support to Business Analyst and Continuous Improvement Engineers.

- Matric with a Degree / Masters in Business Administration / Engineering / Computer Science or a related field
- At least 5-8 years’ experience in a similar role
- Must have proven experience in enterprise systems, HR Processes and/or hardware or software product development environment
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Office – Outlook, Word & Excel)
- Must have proven experience in strategic project management, preferably within technology and business operations
- Must have experience in a managerial role
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a consultative approach to solution development
- A thorough understanding of business analysis, continuous improvement methodologies and project management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license with own reliable transport
The successful candidate must have:
- Matric with a Degree / Masters in Business Administration / Engineering / Computer Science or a related field
- At least 5-8 years’ experience in a similar role
- Must have proven experience in enterprise systems, HR Processes and/or hardware or software product development environment
