Our client in the Manufacturing Industry, requires the services an experience and dedicated Supply Chain Manager to oversee and direct various departments.
Key performance areas:
- Provide leadership to develop motivated and high performance teams.
- Drive and create a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Analyse cross-organisation activities to ensure holistic optimisation of processes
- Develop and ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental (HSE) best practices.
- Provide direction and support to the other branch.
- Accurate order entries and customer expectation management.
- Monitor, analyse and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Create training and development plans for personnel based on operational requirements.
- Determine CAPEX requirements, control expenses and analyse deviations.
- Manage, analyse and report on sales and operations (S&OP) plan.
- Manage inventories to optimise service levels and order fulfilment.
- Coordinate import and export documentation and transportation.
- Optimisation and execution of production orders and procurement.
- Supplier performance evaluation and lead time management.
- Analyse and manage safety stock, inventory value and days of supply (DOS).
- Ensure efficient and correct assembly of sprinklers and system components.
- Ensure a high-level customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Analysis on late lines to achieve consistent on time delivery (OTD).
- Manage controls and procedures for accurate inventory management.
Requirements:

- Must have a strong work ethic and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to main strong relationships.
- Excellent leadership to provide direction, inspire and motivate team members
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
The successful candidate must have:
- Matric with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or related field
- At least 8 years’ experience in a Supply Chain Environment
- At least 5 years’ Management Experience
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Office – Outlook, Word & Excel) & SAP
- Experience in an Agricultural Environment will be advantageous
- Able to understand and analyse complex logistical processes across organisational functions
- Must have a strong work ethic and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to main strong relationships.
