APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME MOTOR TECHNICIAN
Exciting Opportunity:
Autoworks is an upmarket vehicle service and repair centre using modern diagnostic equipment and procedure based on the latest German industry development.
Autoworks Strand currently holds a vacancy for an Apprentice Level 1. This position will be suited to a person who has flair of repairing motor vehicles and who aspires to become a Motor Technician and willing to undergo an Apprentice Training Programme for four years.
Requirements and Skills:
· Grade 12 with Mathematics
· Computer literate
· A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage
· Must live in the Helderberg area with reliable transport to Strand
· Hungry to learn, energetic and hardworking
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
· Participate in the training plan for the apprenticeship
· Perform duties required and make reasonable progress to achieve the competencies in the training plan
· Undertake and attend any training or assessment related to the training plan
· Keep the training record (logbook) in possession, and produce it to the employer and/or training provider, when requested
· Assist with the service and repair of vehicles under the instruction of a Technician
