My client is looking for a talented Sales Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the Air & Ocean Forwarding new business volumes in/out of South Africa. You will also be responsible for managing, implementing, and coordinating new business opportunities in South Africa.Minimum Requirements and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or relevant Post Graduate Qualification
5 to 10 years of sales experience
Exposure to International Freight Forwarding Industry at senior level
Strong understanding of sales and business development
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
In-depth knowledge of air- and sea forwarding processes, procedures, regulations and requirements
Key Responsibilities
Meet personal sales targets by expanding Forwarding services to increase trade volumes.
Identify and engage potential clients to grow market share.
Manage new Air & Ocean business accounts, nurturing leads and exploring growth opportunities.
Collaborate with BD and international partners to set clear targets for Forwarding services.
Serve as a liaison between offices, management, and clients to ensure high-quality service.
Develop SOPs and pricing proposals tailored to client needs.
Provide regular reports on business development progress and market analysis.
