We are looking for an experienced Band Manager for a Multi-National company within the FMCG industry based in the Edenvale area in Johannesburg. Requirements:- MBA qualification
- Marketing Background
- 3-4 years Brand Management experience ( Ethnic Hair care / Oral care / Skin care Products)
- Target Achievement
- Plans &ensures marketing support to ensure achievement of agreed top line and bottom line targets
- Ensures optimal utilization and control of Adpro budget.
- Geographical Responsibility - Southern Africa Region
- Alignment and development of marketing mix elements
- Ensures development and implementation of marketing mix elements for each product, and ensuring alignment of the same with overall Category and Business/ Marketing Plans. This would cover:
- Communication Strategy (including advertising)
- Artwork
- Promotional Plan (Consumer Promo, Trade Promo,
- Merchandising and other visibility initiatives)
- Media Planning
- Digital Marketing/Social Media planning
- Packaging
- Pricing Decisions
- Product Development
- Ensures development and implementation of marketing mix elements for each product, and ensuring alignment of the same with overall Category and Business/ Marketing Plans. This would cover:
- Strategy
- Develops long term and short term strategy
- Agency Management
- Ensures Optimal utilization of agency resources (Market research agencies, Advertising agencies, Media Agencies)
- Market Research
- Ensures development of market research briefs and interpreting research findings.
- Market Analysis
- Sales analysis both primary and secondary, territory, ORG reports.
- Competition / consumer tracking.
- Media tracking
- Profitability tracking
- NPD Management
- Manage NPD Projects from Conceptualization to Finished Goods launch in trade
- Salon Activation
- Manage team of Salon Educators
- Manage Salon Activations/Education Program
- Ensure Salon Coverage as per targets
- Reporting
- Ensure timely update of artwork on CANVAS
- FG Code creation on MWT
- Monthly / Quarterly /Yearly Marketing &Trade Marketing Grid
- Slow Moving Lines strategy
Internal : Finance Department, Packaging Department, Sales Department, Corporate Marketing team & Operations / QC Department
External : Advertising and Media agencies
