Description:
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To ensure the maintenance of a healthy workforce, to establish support functions that aim to improve employee safety and productivity and implement management systems that ensure compliance with legislation.
The provision of a professional occupational health and safety system within the legal, ethical framework; Implementation of an effective occupational health program, including medical surveillance, ensuring that written and approved protocols are utilised.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Matriculant with proven track record in Occupational Health; minimum of 5 years’ experience in this field; dispensing license and qualification, a team player with good communication, administration skills & computer literacy.
A tertiary nursing Diploma / Degree and Certificate in Audiometry & Spirometry, must be registered with SASOHN
Requirements:
- Occupational Health Nursing: 5 to 6 years
- Medicine Dispensing: 5 to 6 years
- Audiodomitry: 5 to 6 years
