Our client is a specialist in Power Transmission Components is looking for Sales Representatives who have a solid background in selling metal drive components to Distributors, OEM’s, and resellers markets.
We are looking for your experience with products such as pulleys, sprockets, bearings, chains, bushes, motors, and gearboxes.
Suitable candidates must have Technical and Mechanical Components understanding and have suitable working knowledge of Sales Force.
Duties and Responsibilities
Sales :
- Achieve and exceed branch sales targets
- Identify new sales opportunities, cross-selling, drive new products and sales performance
- Maintain and improve customer service delivery
- Resolve customer issues or matters timeously
- Engage in stakeholders to develop and maintain healthy customer relationships
- Maintain DSO
- Grow Online Shop customers
Technical Problem-Solving Skills:
- Provide technical product recommendations to meet customer’s needs through assessment, analysis and documentation
- Follow through on outcomes provided
General:
- Sales Force – ensure all customer opportunities are recorded
Safety, Health & Environmental Standards:
- Ensure that a safe and healthy work environment is maintained
- Report health and safety risks and issues to the 16.2 HSE Rep
- Health and safety equipment must be available and ready for use
- Incidents / accidents are prevented by effective operating of equipment and machinery, and by following health and safety procedures
- Health and safety procedures are adhered to and updated as laid down by legislation

- Distributors, OEM's And Resellers: 5 to 6 years
- Pulleys, Gearboxes, Bearings, Chains: 5 to 6 years
- 5 – 10 years sales experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification (sales or management)
- Matric / Grade 12
- Valid, unendorsed SA Driver’s License
- 5 – 10 years sales experience
