Do you have excellent experience with vehicle diagnostic and mechanical repairs to join our very well-established client based in Epping? We require your dedicated work ethic to join this A-Team. This position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, able to interact well with clients.We are requiring an individual who is looking for a long-term career. REQUIREMENTS- Grade 12 plus valid qualifications
- Proven experience as auto mechanic technician preferably with 3 or more years workshop experience and diagnostic experience.
- Technicians’ own tools will be a requirement
- Valid driver’s licence & own vehicle
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
- Excellent physical condition
DUTIES
- Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
- Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic system to repair, maintain and upgrade
- Conducting routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
- Replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc
- Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use
- Extensive client liaison
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues
- Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
- Keep logs on work and issues
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
