Purpose of the role
The focus of this role is to drive efficiencies and processes within the Finance Business Unit. You will be responsible for the PLG business unit focussing on all things finance pertaining to Operational Analytics, Financial Reconciliation and Journaling.
Responsibilities
- Complete reconciliations for department and identify the deltas.
- Cross functional support on business unit finance
- Review feedback provided on business financials.
- Overall completion of journals including but not limited to, Stock Provision, Expense, Accessory and more.
- Complete sales mix and GP financials for analysis.
- Income statement analysis preparations and execution.
- Compile PLG reporting pack.
- Cost analysis and reconciliations.
Required skills and qualification:
- Completed Degree in Financial Accounting
- 2-3 years’ experience within financial accounting; covering stock accounting, income statements and analytics.
- Proven experience within a product of stock environment.
- Experience in costing, sales accounting and reporting is essential.
- Advanced excel experience is a must.
