Description:
• Ensure all sales activity takes place in line with the brand and campus marketing plan
• Develop a sales plan to meet the campus sales and marketing objectives
• Achieve campus sales targets vis. Student numbers, Revenue per student and total turnover net of bursaries and bad debts.
• Roll out the tactical sales plans consistent with your campus sales strategy. This includes all direct sales activity, social media and promotional activity
• Build and maintain a dynamic group of SA, through supporting effective recruitment and selection and training processes
• Ensure that SA are trained and coached with product knowledge and sales techniques
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of your SA to ensure that individual team member's targets are agreed upon, managed, and monitored
• Ensure that the activities of the Student Advisor team comply with all relevant legislation, ethical standards and company policies
• Foster a teamwork approach and a sense of partnership with the Academic, Finance, Ops and HR teams, aimed at optimising all opportunities to identify and exploit synergies and enhance sales-effectiveness
Requirements:
- Marketing: 3 to 4 years
- Sales Manager: 3 to 4 years
- Student Affairs: 2 to 3 years
· Proven experience and successful track record in national sales management, in service-related industries (preference for someone with relevant private education sales experience).
· Minimum 3 years of sales and management experience.
· Relevant Tertiary Qualification
· Able to conduct one and one student interviews and family interviews
· Have high direct selling skills
· Demonstrates ability to understand financial, regulatory, legal and human resource issues and their impact on the sales function
· Highly focused and able to lead and guide a team, lead by example and foster professionalism in the team through consistent and effective training
· Capacity to judge the competency of the team and ability to initiate change
· Ability to constantly self-challenge and challenge others in a constructive way
· Able to analyse and act without compromising quality
· Shows integrity, tenacity, resilience, and adaptability in complex situations and fluid environments; can manage pressure and commit to and respect deadlines
· Utilizes excellent communication skills and demonstrates intercultural adaptability and sensitivity
· Demonstrates proactive thinking skills and ability to make decisions
· Uses their time effectively and efficiently, set priorities and demonstrates time management skills
· Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite
· Relevant degree/diploma
