Job Description
Our client is looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join their Team.
- You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrade administration, monitoring and maintenance of the system software
- Monitoring and responding to system alarms and events
- Ensuring that the system meets the uptime and availability requirements
- Monitoring the system activity and ensuring access to the system
- Ensuring that the infrastructure and the systems are adequately documented
- Ensuring that the systems hardware and software problems are investigated , diagnosed and resolved
- Managing and monitoring system resources
- Provide 24/7 system support functions
Requirements:

- National Certificate (IT), BSc (IT), or industry related diploma
- ITIL foundation certificate
- 2 + Years experience with Linux and Microsoft platforms
- 1 + Years database experience (SQL preferred)
- Must have experience troubleshooting system faults

Qualifications
- Matric
