Job brief:
The Group is a highly competitive player in the fast moving consumer goods, based in Stellenbosch.
We are searching for an efficient Payroll Administrator to join our team who will be responsible for all
aspects of managing employee salary and wages data. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the
processing of the weekly timesheet of 200 employees and branch salaries.
Duties:
· Processing of weekly timesheet of 200+ employees (Pastel Payroll).
· Processing 200+ weekly payslips and processing of wage payments
· Loading and processing new employees on the payroll.
· Employee loan requests checks before approved.
· Created new Employee take on sheet Payroll.
· Leave administration: record keeping of sick/annual leave application forms.
· Responsible for filing of all employee-related documents. (Eg: sick/annual leave applications, warnings, provident fund forms etc.)
· Calculating and processing bonusses
· Draw Employee reports.
· Update New Employee Details U-filing.
· Update terminated employee details U-filing.
· Issue terminated Employee UI19 / UIF wage schedule / Letter of employment.
· Provident Fund Administration: complete & submit withdrawals / claims benefit etc.
· Resolve and attend to payroll queries/ errors.
Requirements:
· Candidate must be able to start immediately.
· Proven work experience as a payroll administrator or similar role.
· Provide contactable reference.
· Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Good time management and organizational skills
· Payroll experience of 2-3 years – essential
· Matric / Gr.12
· Suitable accounting qualification / diploma would be advantageous (growth opportunity)
· Experience in Pastel Payroll (minimum Pastel Partner)
· Positive attitude with attention to detail.
· Must be able to work under pressure and meet weekly deadlines
· Required to work independently
· Payroll experience would be to your advantage.
· Must have own reliable transportation.
· Must be willing to on work on a public holiday at normal overtime arrangements should the need arise.
