Description:
Hire Resolve’s client in the sugar industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Projects Engineer in Noodsberg.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, structure, and lead the execution of site improvement projects using appropriate processes and tools.
- Identify and manage implementation of capital projects, ensuring economic and community outcomes are delivered on time.
- Leverage in-country support from process and engineering optimization teams to deliver on project mandates.
- Coordinate development of a 5-year manufacturing capital plan, including equipment selection and review.
- Assist with abnormal projects in consultation with the Maintenance Team.
- Manage project scope changes, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Ensure all projects are fully integrated into operations and maintenance systems through effective handover.
- Promote and adhere to Illovo’s procedures, policies, and guidelines related to SHERQ and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or C&I Engineering.
- At least 4 years of experience in manufacturing.
- Experience in large scale project management and implementation.
- Familiarity with Costrac or similar systems would be an advantage.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrates importance of safety, quality, and teamwork.
