We have an amazing opportunity for a Professional Geometric Design Engineer based in South Africa

Level: Mid - Senior
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional registration with ECSA.
• Proven experience in geometric design engineering, preferably in transportation infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.
• Strong understanding of geometric design principles, road alignment, and intersection design.
• Knowledge of relevant design standards and regulations (e.g., AASHTO, MUTCD).
• Experience with geometric design analysis, including sight distance calculations and geometric compatibility assessments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including planners, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in design solutions.
• Familiarity with project management processes and workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reports, presentations, and client interactions.
