We have an amazing opportunity for a Professional Civil Engineer based in Kwa-Zulu Natal
Industry: Civil Engineering Consulting
Level: Senior
Key Requirements:
• BSc Civil Engineering / BEng (Civils) or B Tech (Civil Eng).
• Professional registration with ECSA.
• 12+ years’ technical experience with 4 years’ team leadership experience in a consulting engineering firm.
• Strong leadership skills and commercial acumen, complemented by robust technical abilities.
• Extensive experience in infrastructure design, including roads, earthworks, stormwater, and sewer systems.
• Preferably experienced in stormwater management and pump station design (both sewer and water supply).
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D (essential), with knowledge of IDAS, Hec-ras, GIS, PCSWMM, or similar being advantageous.
• Familiarity with Ethekweni standards is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Confident and adept at interpersonal interactions, with a humble demeanor.
• Dynamic, driven, and even-tempered with a collaborative mindset.
• Strong team player with the ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites within South Africa and Africa if required.
