As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled and passionate Millwright to join their dynamic team and help them maintain their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. They are looking for a highly skilled Millwright who has expertise in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. As an essential member of their maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our production lines and machinery, thereby supporting the efficiency and reliability of their manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment; understand and comply with workplace safety regulations.
• Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual inspections, listening for unusual sounds, and conducting scheduled testing as necessary.
• Maintain and repair faulty equipment and machinery.
• Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications.
• Read and interpret diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Work directly with other technicians and management to solve machine-related problems.
• Perform emergency repairs in a timely manner.
• Participate in continuous improvement and proactive maintenance programs.
• Document and maintain records of maintenance and repair work.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Millwright, ideally in the FMCG sector or a related industrial environment.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to understand and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• A valid Millwright certification or equivalent (such as Red Seal endorsement).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
