A medium-sized. financial services firm based in Sandton Johannesburg is looking for a Fund Accountant to join their growing team. Qualifications:- Completed B.com accounting degree.
- With a background of financial services
- Excel Advanced – Non-negotiable
- Background in Investments
- Excellent Communication skills
- Experience within the asset management industry preferred.
- Fund Accounting -includes daily reconciliation of hedge funds and long-only funds against the external administrators and prime brokers.
- Portfolio administration and managing cash balances.
- Trade matching and execution -matching and settlement of trades with brokers and external administrators
- Compliance , risk monitoring and breach reporting -ensuring compliance with any mandate restrictions and regulations
