Group IT Manager
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee our company's technology operations and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our IT team, ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems, and implementing technology solutions to support our business objectives.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Manage and lead the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
2. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software applications.
3. Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance, security, and efficiency.
4. Evaluate and recommend hardware, software, and technology solutions to meet business needs and objectives.
5. Manage IT budgets and expenses, including procurement of equipment and services.
6. Ensure the security of company data and systems through the implementation of appropriate security measures and protocols.
7. Monitor and optimize the performance of IT systems and applications to ensure reliability and efficiency.
8. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems in a timely manner.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments, and assess their potential impact on the company.
10. Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and opportunities for improvement.
**Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
2. Proven experience in IT management, with a track record of successful project delivery and team leadership.
3. Strong technical background in networking, systems administration, and software development.
4. Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and cybersecurity best practices.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Project management experience and certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
