An exiting opportunity has arisen for the positions of Registered Nurse in the Surgical Ward at Life Rosepark Hospital in Bloemfontein. The above positions report to the Unit Manager, Charmaine de Villiers. The successful candidates will contribute to the effective functioning of the Oncology Ward and ensure quality nursing care to all patients. Conduct basic ward duties as allocated by the Unit Manager. Ensuring objective communication between all departments, patients, members of the public and the multi-disciplinary team. Maintaining excellent patient and customer care in accordance with Hospital Standards. Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislatives, policies and procedures of the Hospital and Life Healthcare. Maintaining all Health, Safety and Infection Control Standards. Assisting and participating with the three processes: Contribution to Profit, Optimal Staff utilization and Total Quality Care. Relevant Degree or Diploma in Nursing.Registration with SANC.Must be willing to fulfil the role of Registered Nurse in the Unit, according to the flexi hour system (day and night duty), standby hours, according to the needs of the Unit.Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players.Must be able to work under pressure in a continuously changing environment.Experience in Oncology nursing will be an advantage. Relevant Degree or Diploma in Nursing.Registration with SANC.Must be willing to fulfil the role of Registered Nurse in the Unit, according to the flexi hour system (day and night duty), standby hours, according to the needs of the Unit.Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players.Must be able to work under pressure in a continuously changing environment.Experience in Oncology nursing will be an advantage.
