Production Manager

Description:

The Production Manager supervises the complete process of manufacturing, guaranteeing efficient and effective production throughout all shifts. Their duties include establishing production targets, overseeing resource allocation, and attaining superior output quality while adhering to cost and safety standards.
Develop and implement production plans and schedules in alignment with company- goals and customer demand
Oversee the entire production process and ensure efficient utilization of resources
Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflows and improve overall plant efficiency
Manage and lead a team of production foremen, shift leaders, and team leaders
Manage budgets and monitor production costs, identifying and implementing cost-saving measures
Recruit, train, and develop production personnel
Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the production process
Analyze production data, identify areas for improvement, and continuously implement process optimizations
Manage and resolve production issues and disruptions, minimizing downtime and ensuring timely delivery
Manage and prioritize maintenance requests for equipment and machinery
Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures across all manufacturing departments
Collaborate with the Operations director to align production goals with overall business objectives
Report production performance metrics and key issues

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing leadership role, preferably in metalworking or sheet metal industries.
Strong understanding of production processes, quality control methodologies, and lean manufacturing principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, achieve production goals, and manage budgets effectively.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
