The hospitality arm of this renowned property developer is rapidly expanding, managing two buildings with three more to be incorporated by year-end. On track to oversee 200 units by 2025, the team aims to redefine hospitality management with ambitious expansion plans.

What you will be doing:


  • Oversee key accounting functions including payable, receivable, ledger, and payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Produce precise financial statements such as income, balance, and cash flow, while also establishing effective controls.
  • Conduct routine financial close processes, monitor cash flow and budgets, and analyse financial forecasts to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, lead budgeting and planning processes, and offer guidance to drive business growth.
  • Stay updated on evolving accounting regulations, provide ad-hoc financial analysis support, and assist with general duties as needed.

What you need:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
  • CA (SA), SAIPA, or CIMA qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential.
  • Experience in hospitality, particularly short-term letting management, is preferred.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Highly organised individual capable of managing tasks independently.
  • Hard-working, efficient, and deadline-focused with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to self-review work for accuracy.
  • Extensive experience with reporting to executives.
  • Good with people and able to work effectively in a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, Office).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookups, and complex if formulas.
