Our client, operating in the fruit industry and situated in the Tulbagh area, has the above-mentioned position available for a Financial Manager with a strong accounting background.The ideal candidate should be able to perform the full financial function of the company and the five (5) cost centers (3 x production units, 1 x cold room and 1 x non-production department).
Duties will include (but not be limited to): *Overseeing all financial functions of the company *Producing financial statements and preparations for annual audits *Managing statutory compliance requirements (EMP201 PAYE/SDL/UIF) *Financial processing and reconciliation *Monthly reports and analysis *Compiling and managing budgets in conjunction with management team *Management of financial team *Salaries and wages *All other functions related to the position.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Diploma/Degree in Accounting or similar field;
• Completed SAICA articles;
• At least 3 years' relevant post-articles experience;
• Excellent communication skills (Afrikaans and English);
• Strong computer skills (MS Excel & accounting software);
• Own reliable transport.
This is a hybrid role that requires two (2) office days per week.
Commencement date: As soon as possible.
