Description:
The Successful applicant will be required to Plan, Organise, lead and control our Polyfoam manufacturing plant on either dayshift /or night shift. Proven Supervisory skills and full understanding and competence in handling production manufacturing processes and resources.
Meeting shift deadlines and ensuring optimal utilisation of resources which include company manpower allocation, machine utilisation, production output and material/manufacturing processessing.
Able to train/oversee/coach/mentor staff/operators on SOP's/SWP/WI and ensuring the application of H&S rules and regulations;
Exposure to lean thinking/and worl class production can be of benefit to optimise production / manufacturing efficiencies
Requirements:
- Production Planning/Scheduling: 5 to 6 years
- Production Planning And Co-Ordination: 10 years or more
- Managing Others: 10 years or more
- Technical Savvy: 10 years or more
Education:Grade 12/ or NQF L5 or equivalent.
B Tech Operations Mgt/or NQF L5 qualification
5-10 years working experience in similar environment
Own transport
