Remote Work Career Opportunity:Sales Consultant : An international supplier of custom manufactured smart cards, readers and accessories to various clients in the US, is seeking to appoint a self-motivated, driven Sales Consultant to join their existing team in South Africa. The Sales Consultant will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.

Criteria
  • Matric and relevant post matric accreditation
  • Proficient in the English language (to read, write and speak) (English first language is essential)
  • Proven work experience in a sales role
  • The correct personality and ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Highly motivated and target driven
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver product requirements tailored to the customer's needs
Key Performance Areas
  • Identify and pursue existing and prospective customers
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through both hot and cold sales
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Keep abreast of best practices and trends, product research and training
  • Follow-up and managing of the fulfilment process and the production team to ensure that the correct goods are delivered on time to the customer
  • Work directly with the production teams in UK, US and China
  • Follow up on other leads that are generated through the website or leads
General Conditions:

Hours of Work
  • Due to the time zone the estimated normal working hours range between Monday to Friday 14:00 to 22:00 SA time or 16:00 to midnight, with after-hours work as required
  • Work on SA public holidays, but off duty on standard US public holidays and a number of days over the Festive Season
Technical Devices and Internet Connectivity
Own mobile phone and laptop.
Fast internet and fail proof electricity connection is essential as direct client calls will be made to the US via Skype and conference calls online. Most sales will be email driven.

Training:
Internal training will be given. As the field of smart cards is vast, an enthusiastic, self-starter will be required for this role.

Remuneration
Highly competitive basic plus a lucrative sales structure (payable in USD at end of each month)
