We're in search of a Financial Manager who is highly strategic and forward-thinking to join our renewable energy company. Job & Company Description:We provide valuable products and services to the mining industry and own and operate oil and gas infrastructure across Africa. Our offerings include a range of collaborative services and products, encompassing manufacturing and contracting throughout the mining supply chain and the energy sector.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Efficiently overseeing cash flow and managing all treasury affairs, including weekly forecasting and reporting
- Conducting consolidations
- Monitoring performance vs budget
- Experience collaborating with boards and sub-committees
- Proficient understanding and implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Familiarity with South African taxation regulations and their application
- Ability to efficiently oversee audits
- Strong budgeting skills
- Background in preparing and reviewing management accounting reports
- Proficiency in risk management practices
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems like TM1, Sage, and Paste
Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- At least 5 years of Financial Management experience with a background in group reporting
- Previous involvement in the Mining/Oil and Gas sector would be beneficial
