Description:
Reporting to the Operations Manager of the outsourced department, the successful applicant will be a good communicator with the primary function of being a hands-on supervisor, with the focus on leading the operational teams to improved equipment efficiencies, maintaining equipment availability, and maintaining customer relations.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise operating staff and suppliers and ensure all activities are completed.
• Ensure equipment and site efficiencies are achieved.
• Attending to planned and break down maintenance and the installation of equipment.
• Perform all work safely, ensure legal compliance, complete risk assessments, develop safe work procedures prior to completion of work.
• Attend to production and maintenance incidents and call outs.
• Communication with the client.
• Complete all inspections and reports, boiler house and equipment, boiler controls, optimizing boiler efficiencies, planned maintenance, and legal compliance of boiler plants,

QUALIFICATIONS
• Millwright, Electrical trade certificate (preferably red seal) or Diploma in electrical engineering with a strong mechanical background.
• Boiler operation and maintenance training certificates will be recognised.
• Valid driver’s licence.
EXPERIENCE
• At least five to ten years’ experience in a similar position, and industry.
• A strong ability to Supervise boiler house staff or production staff.
• Experience with 5Y analysis, fault finding, planned maintenance, repairs of electrical and mechanical equipment, (programming of PLC and drives, and equipment commissioning.
• Competent in, reading of drawing, technical diagrams and the drawing of basic wiring diagram.
• Computer literate and competent in MS Office programs and SharePoint
• Experience of boiler servicing and commissioning will be advantageous.
• Experience in project management.
