One of the property companies based in the East of Johannesburg is looking to hire a Property Accountant to join their team. Qualifications:- Completed B. Com degree Accounting
- MDA
- Excel Advanced – Non negotiable
- SAP – Non negotiable
- Full Accounting function related to customs and exports
- Preparation on monthly recons including age analysis
- Perform export debtors’ function for manufacturing division and follow up on long outstanding receivables to ensure no bad debt occurs
- Reconcile of export sales over and unders to ensure timely resolutions
- Provisioning of monthly logistic costs accruals through a recon of accounts and supplier statement at month end
- Perform regular stock counts at site to ensure accurate stock
- Remain up tot date with IFRS requirements
- Make necessary provisions in the accounts in line with IFRS
- ensure necessary internal control systems are in place for process in area of responsibility.
- POA/Property accountant to be involved with preparing financial reports and statements,bank reconciliations , and conducting cyclical audits for property associations
- Prepare tax documents.
- Compile and analyse financial statements.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting.
