Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Storeman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, including experience with racking systems, forklift operation, bulk storage management, and container unpacking.Responsibilities: Efficiently manage incoming and outgoing inventory. Utilize forklift equipment to safely and accurately load and unload materials. Operate and maintain racking systems in accordance with safety standards. Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records. Organize and optimize storage space for efficient workflow. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders. Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Storeman or similar role. Valid forklift license with demonstrated proficiency in forklift operation. Experience working with racking systems and bulk storage. Ability to efficiently unpack containers and manage inventory. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in warehouse environments.
