Our client, a powerhouse in the FMCG sector, is recruiting for a Millwright to take charge of plant machinery and ensure its optimal performance in their Cape Town plant.
Requirements:
You will take charge of ensuring that machinery is utilized to full capacity and in working order, this includes planned, preventative and emergency maintenance as needed. You should be prepared to perform mechanical and electrical overhauling, as well as setting up new machinery.
The successful candidate will have a valid Millwright or Electrician Trade Test or relevant tertiary qualification and at least 4 years’ experience in a FMCG environment. Knowledge of Food Safety, Hygiene, HACCP standards and Safe working proceduresis essential. The ability to work in a workshop environment and weekends and public holidays is very important.
