Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic-minded individual to fill the role of Replenishment Analyst/Planner. This position plays a pivotal role in managing inventory levels, optimizing stock replenishment processes, and ensuring product availability across our retail network. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of retail operations, and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales data, historical trends, and demand forecasts to develop replenishment plans for retail stores, ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Collaborate closely with merchandise planners, buyers, and store managers to understand sales patterns, promotional activities, and seasonal trends to inform replenishment decisions.
  • Utilize inventory management systems (IMS) and forecasting tools to generate replenishment orders, monitor stock levels, and track inventory performance against targets.
  • Optimize inventory replenishment processes, including order frequency, order quantities, and lead times, to minimize stockouts and excess inventory while maximizing inventory turns.
  • Monitor supplier performance and lead times, proactively addressing any issues to ensure timely delivery of replenishment orders and minimize disruptions to store operations.
  • Analyze product performance metrics, including sell-through rates, stock-to-sales ratios, and gross margin return on investment (GMROI), to identify opportunities for assortment optimization and SKU rationalization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, operations, and finance, to develop and implement inventory management best practices and process improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to anticipate changes in customer demand and adjust replenishment strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, retail management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in replenishment planning, inventory management, or retail operations, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, or business intelligence software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in inventory tracking and analysis.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems (IMS), Oracle software, and retail merchandising principles is preferred.
  • Passion for outdoor activities and familiarity with outdoor retail brands and products is a plus.
