Description:
Hire Resolve, a leading recruitment agency, is currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's team. As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee all the financial activities of the business. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and implementing effective internal controls. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, preferably within the construction industry, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Manage general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Coordinate and assist in month-end and year-end close procedures
- Prepare and review budget and forecasting reports
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes
- Supervise and lead a team of accounting professionals
Requirements:
- ACCA/CIMA/BICA Qualified or Degree in Accounting & Finance
- Part ACCA/CIMA qualified
- BICA Registered
- 5–10 years of experience, preferably in the construction field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
