PURPOSE OF ROLE

The Recruitment Administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our recruitment process. As the backbone of both our recruitment team and candidates, you’ll manage administrative tasks that underpin the search for new talent. Your efforts will facilitate a seamless experience for candidates while enabling our recruiters to focus on evaluating applicants’ suitability for roles.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Job Advertisements:
    • Post clear, accurate, and appealing job advertisements on various platforms, including our company website, job boards, and social media.
  • Candidate Screening:
    • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates based on job requirements and criteria set by hiring managers.
  • Interview Coordination:
    • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
    • Prepare interview materials and send calendar invites.
  • Data Management:
    • Maintain and update our recruitment databases and the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information, interview schedules, and feedback from hiring managers.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and reports
    • Opening folders and ensuring supporting documentation is updated and signed off
  • Candidate Communication:
    • Handle communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
    • Provide updates, answer questions, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Recruitment Campaigns:
    • Perform full recruitment function on smaller recruitment campaigns.
  • Offer Letters:
    • Prepare and extend job offer letters to selected candidates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Reference Checks:
    • Conduct reference and background checks on candidates as required, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors Degree from a recognized institution, in HR or other HR related discipline such as Industrial Psychology
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), preferably Simplify.HR.
  • Proven experience in recruitment administration or a related field.
  • Engineering, Procurement and Construction industry experience advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
