Are you a passionate financial professional with a knack for driving operational efficiency and financial accuracy? We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant who boasts a degree in finance, post-article experience and advanced excel skills to join their dynamic delivery team at a thriving online retailer.As the financial accountant, your duties and responsibilities include the following:
Managing junior staff
Review and prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
Recommend and implement financial processes, improve measures and internal control procedures
Serve as a business partner to the delivery team
Provide assistance when it comes to budget preparations, financial forecasts and scenario planning
Contribute efforts towards actual vs budgets
Automate reports and build sustainable finance models to assist with decision making
Manage and approve expenses and purchase orders
Manage internal purchases and sales
As required by senior management, ad-hoc tasks
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years of post-article experience
Experience in working for a franchise or retailer would be beneficial
Qualification:
Relevant Finance degree
CA(SA)/CIMA designation
Advanced excel and Google sheet skills
