A mining vehicle manufacturer is seeking the services of a senior mechatronic engineer. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechatronic Engineer to join our team and lead the development of cutting-edge mechatronic systems for mining vehicles. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, testing, and implementing advanced technologies to improve the efficiency, safety, and performance of our mining equipment.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize mechatronic systems for mining vehicles, including sensors, actuators, control systems, and integration with software platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechatronic components into overall vehicle designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and performance evaluations of mechatronic solutions.
- Lead prototype development, testing, and validation processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous innovation in mining vehicle design and automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or related field;
- Experience in mechatronic system design, preferably in the mining or heavy machinery industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design and simulation (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C/C++, Python, or MATLAB for control systems development.
- Experience with PLC programming, robotics, machine vision, and IoT technologies is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
