Description:
Millwright – Isando, Gauteng - R180 Per Hour
Key Responsibilities:
· Technical Expertise: Analyze faults and solve problems across various fields. Take ownership of workshop, technical infrastructure, and company vehicle.
· Repairs: Rectify defective equipment efficiently, knowing when to innovate while following proper repair procedures.
· Maintenance: Develop and implement maintenance plans, ensuring regular checks and documentation.
· Construction: Build and install various structures within the factory using diverse materials.
· Management: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, prioritize tasks, and strive for continuous improvement.
· Administration: Maintain job logs, coordinate with external suppliers, and assist in stock management.
· Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain cleanliness in work areas.
· Food (Product) Safety: Adhere to food safety principles and standards.
· Self-Development: Stay updated on innovations and technical advancements relevant to the role.
Requirements:
· Secondary Education (Grade 12)
· Minimum N2 in millwright trade theory and trade tested
· 5 years' post-trade test experience
· Sound understanding of drawings, fault finding, and technical principles
· Proficiency in utilizing hand and power tools
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work decisively, ensuring safety and quality standards
Additional Information:
· Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and night shifts as needed
· General understanding of factory processes and related technologies
