RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designing, developing and maintaining client-side web applications and server-side code with a focus on performance and scalability
- Developing test plans, systems testing and coordinate user acceptance testing where necessary
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and translating business requirements into both personal and team development outputs.
- Supporting existing applications and developing new functionality and components
- Adhering to the development standards of the team with minimal guidance
- Mentorship by providing technical guidance and code reviews to team members
- Leading discussions in the adoption of new technologies to improve and enhance internal development standards
- Ensuring all technical documentation pertaining to developments and enhancements are updated and distributed
Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric
- Relevant IT Qualification
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an intermediary/senior role
- Proficient in C# and Microsoft .NET architecture
- Proficient in MSSQL database design, queries, Store Procedures, views and functions
- Angular, MVC, Bootstrap, JavaScript and CSS frontend technologies
- Familiar with API design and implementation of integration web services (REST, SOAP)
- Exposure to mobile development a plus, either native or hybrid
- Good communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups
- Always presentable and of a professional manner
- Experience in leading projects or key technical initiatives is highly advantageous
