Sample Operations Director

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Recognised Project Management, Operations, or Business-related degree.
• Ideally 5 (five) or more years’ project or operational management experience; within the Market Research industry.
• Ideally 3 (three) or more years’ people and general management experience.
• Direct experience working with all data collection methodologies and sample sources, including: online digital sample, such as social media, panels or communities; face-to-face interviewing; in-depth interviews; mystery shopping; auditing and telephonic interviewing.
• Proficient in Microsoft and Office tools; including MS Teams, MS Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Advanced level competence in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables and Lookups.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sample Matrix and Project Management - effectively utilize a matrix of appropriate sample sources to meet project objectives.
• Leadership - direct, lead, mentor and ensure consistent delivery of a team of diverse individuals.
• Financial Management and Controls - apply effective management and controls in terms of all commercial and financial elements in area of responsibility.
• Problem Solving and Improvement – proactively identify problems and drive effective, sustainable resolutions.
• Sample Quality Assurance - ensure the application of robust, consistent quality procedures throughout the data collection process.
• Operational Management Metrics - define, capture, manage and report on operational metrics.
• Strategy Input and Execution - contribute to operational strategy development, drive the execution and achievement thereof.
• Business Development Support - commercial and operational input into proposals and costings.
• Operational Administration - carry-out administrative tasks related to Sample Operations and Quality Control activities.
