As the Graduate Industrial Engineer , you will work closely with the Operations Manager to oversee operations activities at every level of the organisation and ensure that products and services offered meet or exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify areas of improvement.
- Manage production schedules and coordinate services to optimize productivity.
- Implement process improvements and technological upgrades to increase efficiency.
- Prepare material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analyses, and production reports.
- Purchasing of material, plan inventory, and oversee warehouse efficiency.
- Design facility layouts and determine personnel requirements.
- Maintain good working relationships with suppliers.
- Maintain all necessary records.
- Liaise with production manager regarding scheduling and due dates of fabricated items.
- Liaise with the sales team regarding prospective orders and spares requirements.
- Assist with customer adjudications and expedite the quoting process with suppliers.
Requirements
- 0 – 1 years of prior work experience.
- Degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
