Description:
An upmarket Golf Estate currently has an exciting full-time vacancy for a dynamic individual, who will be part of their Workshop/Mechanical team.
· Maintenance of all machinery and equipment. This includes the service of tractors, golf carts, and other farm equipment.
· Test drive tractors, golf carts, and other farm equipment to ensure everything is working properly
· Proactive problem solving.
· Repair of daily breakages.
· Completing daily job cards.
· Making inquiries with technical service providers regarding specialist work.
· Maintaining workspace, equipment, and tools in a safe and clean manner.
· Ability to diagnose faults, strips, and re-assemble machines without supervision.
· Record observations and findings during diagnostic run.
· Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
· Knowledge on generators, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, spraypainting, metal fabrication and general maintenance is required.
· Training on other relevant, industry specific equipment will be provided.
Requirements:
· At least Grade 12
· Trade-tested mechanic qualification preferred but not essential.
· Minimum of 3-5 years working experience as a Mechanic or similar role with all-round experience.
· Computer literacy (MS Word and MS Excel)
· Flexibility

· Must be able to work independently
· Excellent communication skills (English & Afrikaans)
· Excellent organizational skills
· Able to multitask and work under pressure.
· Willing to do overtime and standby duties.
· Must be medically and physically fit to carry out work.
· Obey to Health and Safety regulations.

· No Criminal Record.
· Willing and able to work overtime and peak season from Nov to Feb.
