Description:
Financial Manager needed! Oversee the organization's financial well-being through meticulous record-keeping, accurate reporting, and insightful analysis. Ensure financial compliance and transparency while providing strategic guidance based on deep dives into financial data and market trends.Duties include:
- Function in accordance with and uphold Company policies, standards, procedures, controls and applicable laws.
- Timely and effective communication to management, particularly in the case of issues identified and/or discrepancies.
- Lead and empower a team
- Daily and monthly management, processing and reconciliation of SARS related returns and queries
- Produce financial reports and other financial information to support strategic decision making.
- Design / implement/execute and enforce processes, controls, and systems to mitigate financial risks.
Key skills and experience:
- Sage, Pastel or equivalent.
- An accounting qualification. (BCom or BCompt.), SAICA or SAIPA articles.
- Finance Manager work experience 5-10 years.
- Manufacturing experience preferable.
- Work experience with GSuite.
