Duties
To assist the food and beverage manager with daily operations of the F&B department
Checking and dealing with guests’ special occasion arrangements
Promote special in-house events
Oversee and pro-actively deal with guest queries and complaints
Maintain ambiance or restaurant – lighting, music, cleanliness, hygiene
Liaise between kitchen staff and floor staff
Oversee the of guests within the restaurant
Perform other duties as requested
Soft Skills
Excellent Customer service skills
Ability to understand and respond to individuals (Guests needs and requirements)
MS Office ( Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Restaurant management software
POS
Exceptional Communication Skills
Sound presentation skills
Qualification and Training / Experience
Proven 2 – 3 years’ experience within a 3 / 4 * establishment as Maitre’D or head waiter/es or restaurant manager
University/college qualification in F&B or Tourism Management would be an advantage
