Our client is seeking an Intermediate PHP Developer to play a crucial role in their organization. Job Responsibilities:In addition to daily coding activities, you will:
- Provide technical leadership to junior team members
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend their integration
- Collaborate with other development team members to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor and implement changes in Support Tickets
- Execute Daily Automated Client Data Import Jobs
- Attend scheduled meetings
- Provide support to the Development Manager, Senior Team Lead, and External Clients
- Offer general support to fellow co-workers
Qualifications & Experience :
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent Level 4 qualification issued by SAQA
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in Information Technology
- Clear criminal and ITC record
- 5-6 years of working experience
- Proficiency in PHP, OOP, MVC, MS-SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, HTML, CSS, XHTML, AJAX, C#
- Knowledge/Experience in MySQL, PostGres, GIT
- Experience in Laravel, .NET, or Yii frameworks (advantageous)
- Experience in Python (advantageous)
- Experience in using debugging software (advantageous)
Technical Skills:
- Expert knowledge of software development languages
- Expert knowledge of software design methods and techniques
- Experience with object-oriented programming
- Front-end development expertise, including jQuery
- Understanding of Ajax
- Experience in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to delivery
