Description:
Minimum requirements for the role:
Previous experience having worked as a Factory Supervisor or related role is essential for this role.
A tertiary engineering qualification or related qualification is preferred.
Previous experience having worked on breakdowns and or in a blending and bagging production or related environment will be preferred for the role.
Exposure to working on gearboxes, hoppers, mixers and various pumps and automated systems and PLC boards would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Establishing dailyÙ« weekly and monthly objectives on the plant and communicating them to employees.
Managing the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing employee schedules.
Guiding and coaching employees and monitoring their productivity.
Overseeing safe use of equipment and scheduling regular maintenance.
Setting up repair appointments with Mechanics or Electricians when needed.
Maintaining records of all data attendance and providing effective training to all staff members.
Performing verification of RM coming in and also production output according to specifications (quality control).
Preparing reports on performance and progress and presenting them to the General Manager.
Detecting issues in efficiency and suggesting improvements.
Training new employees on how to safely use machinery and following procedures
Ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines and Company standards.
Identifying all issues within the team and providing continuous support to all members according to operating standards on daily basis.
Preparing effective production schedules and ensuring compliance to all Company policies.
Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
