Shopfitting BuyerShopfitting and Joinery Buyer:Libra Joinersand Interiors is currently recruiting for a buyer. The incumbent must havesolid knowledge of the types of materials required in the Shopfitting and Timbertrade. When applying, please indicate your salary expectations. Hours of work are from 08:00 to 17:00, Mondayto Thursday and 08:00 to 15:30 on a Friday. Responsibilities:1. Pricenegotiation.2. Ability tonegotiate payment terms with suppliers and sub-contractors.3. Checkavailability of materials and prices.4. Source newand currents products at cost effective prices.5. Ensure ontime delivery of materials.6. Keep a trackrecord (costing) of all materials purchased per project.7. Check andupdate pricing as per internal schedules.8. Generatepurchase orders as per business requirements (Pastel).9. Follow up onoutstanding purchase orders.10. Providefinance department with all relevant documentation timeously.MinimumRequirements:1. Matric Levelof education – preference will be given to candidates studying towards a recogniseddegree or diploma.2. At least 3years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge:• Procurementpolicies.• Strong Marketknowledge in Shopfitting and Timber industry.• Understandingof Shopfitting methodologies.• Understandingof technical terms.Skills:• Computerliterate and proficient in understanding systems.• Sage Pasteland MS Office Excel.• Goodcommunicator.• Timemanagement.• DetailedConscious.• Solutions drivenand strong attention to detail.• Strongnegotiating skills.• Strong workethic.Interested:Preference willbe given to candidates that are familiar to the timber and shopfittingindustry.
